Pigmentation and scarring may be noticeable once your acne has cleared, and whilst some can improve on their own, by booking in with the Essie Medi Spa this may further help you reduce or even completely remove scars following a successful course of treatments with us.

Consult Doctor before treatment

However, we do recommend that you consult with your doctor before booking this treatment with us as in the presence of more severe scarring more intensive treatment may be recommended i.e. laser resurfacing. In conclusion, some scarring is more difficult to treat, reduce or remove than others. Some common dark spots (post -inflammatory hyperpigmentation) found on the skins surface after acne has cleared are easy to treat, where as some scarring is much deeper and requires more attention to treat.
